A matter of days after I recorded this chat with Joyce she was announced as the winner of the Australia Council Emerging & Experimental Arts Award, one of the most prestigious awards offered by the Australia Council.
Joyce Hinterding is Senior Lecturer at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney and is represented by Sarah Cottier Gallery.
I’m a huge fan of Joyce’s drawing work so it was really great having this conversation with her.
